based in Boston, ma
Hi, my name is
Meg!
New England lifestyle and wedding photographer
Ever since I was a little girl, I've been described as a people person. I truly love interacting with every person I encounter, and fostering and building relationships with people I connect with is incredibly important to me. When I got my first camera at 12 years old, I would walk around whatever environment I was in and take photos of the people I'd see, the places I'd go, and the love that was shared between the two. 13 years and thousands of photos taken later, this all remains true. I'm a lover of life, love, happiness, and learning all things that make a person who they are, and in our time together, you'll get to know me authentically for me, as a friend, not just as your photographer.
I was born and raised in the coastal town of Dartmouth, MA, and I graduated from Bridgewater State University with degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders and Psychology. Between graduating from BSU and applying to grad school, I took my hobby and turned it into a part-time business. Never did I ever expect MSP to evolve into what it is today, but I couldn't be more grateful to have you all; the support system, clients, and network that I do.
I am currently based in Boston, MA, while I work as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Balancing being a clinical fellow and a part-time photographer has definitely not been easy, but YOU make every second of stress and hard work worth it! Living in Boston, I've discovered SO many new places for photos to be taken, and if you're more local to the South Coast of MA, don't worry; I'm in the area more often than you'd think! I love to drive and love to travel even more, so I will work on my end to meet you wherever your photo dreams take us!
when I'm not behind the camera...
I'm spending time with friends, family, or my golden retriever, Finn
I love nothing more than going on jeep rides to the beach blasting Taylor Swift with my friends, daily phone calls with my mom, watching sports with my dad, golfing or skiing out with my brother and taking Finn on walks. I live in Boston with my best friend from home, and hosting our hometown/grad school friends, going to our book club, and making new memories in the city have been a blast! My people truly make me the happiest, and I wouldn't be where or who I am without them.
I'm listening to music or reading
If you can't tell by the many features on my website, I am a huge Taylor Swift fan. I've been to 11 of her concerts and will be going to my 12th this year! Other than Taylor, I love country, folk, indie-pop, and pop, more specifically, Zach Bryan, Morgan Wallen, Noah Kahan, Mt. Joy, Sabrina Carpenter, Maggie Rogers, Post Malone, and so many more! Despite my musical interests, I'll bring my speaker and play whatever makes you and your loved one(s) relax and let loose. I also love books and read every morning while having breakfast and every night before bed!
I'm studying or exploring more of Boston
As a lover of the ocean, when making my decision for grad school, proximity to the water was a huge factor. When I first stepped onto my campus (MGH Institute of Health Professions), the views from the study areas on campus sold me. Though it's not in the heart of Boston, I love studying on campus and exploring the rest of the city in whatever downtime I have! Being a foodie, I have discovered SO many incredible restaurants and have loved trying new places and meals around the city!
